Clickbank Analytics Provides New Pie Chart
If you’ve spent any time looking around the Clickbank website after you’ve logged in, you will have discovered Clickbank Analytics which provides some excellent statistics about how many Hops you’ve had, How many Sales Page Impressions, Sales Page Submits etc. Â Along with the graph that they supply, there is a table showing a breakdown of Hops and Sales etc against individual products.
If you have had a lot of hops over a wide range of products, this table can be a bit of a chore to page through, but thankfully you can download it as a spreadsheet file compatible with Microsoft Office and Open Office.
Something that Clickbank have introduced recently is an alternative to the table in the form of a pie-chart. Â Just above the table you will see a couple of icons:
Click on the Pie-chart icon and the essential data in the table will be displayed as a pie-chart, thus:
The shaded rectangles have been added later. Â These are covering up the number of hops that each of those products has received during the selected period.
Although those numbers are important, they are irrelevant compared with the instant value that this chart has. Â It is an immediate view of which products are the most popular out of the ones that you are promoting. Â Don’t confuse this with the most popular products on Clickbank – it is displaying statistics about actual Hops that you have had from the products that you are promoting.
From this example, I can see that the products named forumtg, jailcalls and 411help are by far the most popular products out of the ones being promoted using this Clickbank account. Â Nearly one third of all hops on this account have been for a single product.
So what does it tell me? Â It tells me that there is a lot of interest in three main products. Â If I switch back to the data table, I can see how many sales were made of those products. Â If there were not very many, it tells me that maybe I should do something to promote it more. Â If there are a good number of sales, then I can leave it and concentrate on some of the other products.
For example, after the top 3 products, super2 (Supertips by Harvey Segal, the Clickbank King) is the next most popular product. Â Perhaps interest in this could be higher if I promote it more. Â Does it get any sales? Â Yes. Â Most of the hops convert into sales, so I should be promoting it more in order to get more sales.
So if you thought pie-charts were pretty pictures that managers put into business presentations to brighten up an otherwise dull presentation, then think again. Â The Clickbank Hops Pie-Chart gives you an instant view of your statistics, and given some logical analysis, you can make informed decisions on which products to concentrate on, and which ones to drop.
